Hello! I’m Sarah

I didn’t know that I wanted to get into User Experience design until I got to a point in my jobs that I just didn’t enjoy what I was doing. I went to school to be a therapist and even got a Masters degree in Psychology. But once I had to go out into the real world and try to counsel people, I knew that being a therapist wasn’t for me. So, I switched careers and thought administrative work would be my calling. When that didn’t bring me joy or happiness, I knew that I was missing something. After some self-reflection, I realized that I needed to go back to my roots. Design has always been a part of my life. I completed art commissions in high school, I drew all of the time in Procreate on my iPad, and I was testing out new baking dishes to practice my design skills there. Because of that, I completed a certification in a field that I knew nothing about, loved it, and am now jumping head first into an adventure that I know I will be great at.
